The goal is to bridge communities with schools in providing basic needs, removing barriers, and seeking equity for students so they can engage and succeed in school and life. The Bridges program accomplishes this by engaging advocates to identify and submit essential needs on behalf of students and families. Hilliard Bridges engages community members to fill these needs via email and social media. Their slogan is “Neighbors help Neighbors.”
