The Freshmen Focus program serves as a student and family services center. We welcome all new students who register at Davidson H.S. by assigning a new student mentor to each new student. That mentor assists the new student for the first month or two of school. The student mentor also provides social support and a lunch partner to assist the student to feel welcome. The center is staffed with a social worker who is available to work with any Hilliard Davidson family who has needs in the internal family or in the extended family and needs resources. In addition, the new student mentor program raises money through fundraising projects to provide financial resources that assist Davidson families with their needs, such as food baskets, clothing, etc.
