The Lions Club is the world’s largest service club. The Hilliard Club is over 50 years old. Our motto is, “we serve” – committed to discovering and meeting needs both locally and world-wide, particularly in the area of serving the blind and preventing blindness. We partner with Prevent Blindness Ohio to provide free eye exams and eyeglasses for eligible children and adults. To be eligible, families or individuals must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty line. We also recycle old glasses (cannot be broken). They can be dropped off at the Hilliard Library. No cost. Services provided when needed, not limited to residents of Hilliard. If you’re interested, call the number to set up an appointment and fill out an application. This process may take 2-3 weeks at most.
